Mike lives in Fairview Heights, Illinois with his wife Valerie. They have two young daughters, Norah and Ava.

Mike received his Bachelors of Arts from Asbury University, majoring in Biblical and Theological studies. He received his Masters of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary. He received his Doctorate of Ministry through Asbury Theological Seminary with a focus on Preaching and Leading.

Mike is passionate about seeing people become disciples of Jesus Christ and desires to create church cultures that help create disciples for the transformation of the world.

At Christ Church he has overseen Congregational Care, Serving Christ Ministries (Outreach), Unstuck Worship, Church Online, Adult Discipleship, Student, Children and Wonderfully Made Ministry (Special Needs). Mike frequently preaches at all of the Christ Church campuses.
